The saying mentioned here exhibits that stopping
problem taking place is better than searching their solution. It is sure that
preventive measures are definitely far better than the solutions. In our life,
we have to stop ourselves from committing mistakes; it is better than to
correct ourselves. For instance, if people are unhealthy, the state has to
invest the money for their treatment. If the state is able to stop the people
getting unhealthy, it is better than providing treatment to them. Whether we
build more hospitals or train more doctors, people will not be healthy without
clean drinking water, good sanitation and a balanced diet which are better than
treatment to cure. Similarly, we have to try to wipe out the root causes of
problems that are likely to take pace. If the problems occur, we have to invest
property and time to solve them. Furthermore, they may invite further problems
which may lead us to suffering and hardship. Therefore, stopping problems to
occur is undoubtedly better than to look for their solutions.
