A poor girl named Shoshi worked in a rich man’s house. The house master was kind to her but the mistress was very cruel. She used to scold her now and then. Change of Shoshi’s Life
A poor girl named Shoshi worked in a rich man’s house. The house master was
kind to her but the mistress was very cruel. She used to scold her now and
then. One day when serving tea, Shoshi broke up a cup of tea. The mistress
became very angry. She began to beat her cruelly. At one stage she struck
Shoshi’s head with a stick. Then, Shoshi became senseless and fell to the
ground. Luckily the master of the house came just at that time. He took her to
a clinic and admitted her there. She was given proper treatment. After some
days Shoshi was fully cured. The master of the house wanted her to be
established. His friend had a garments factory. So, he managed a job for her in
the factory. She started working as a helper. She was a hard working girl. She
was also clever. She learnt her work very soon. She became an operator very
shortly. So, her salary increased within a short time. She became thankful to
the master and felt very happy. Now she got married with a man who is also a
garment worker. Now, she leads a very simple and happy life.
