The pen is mightier than the sword

The saying "the pen is mightier than the sword" shows that the combination of knowledge, wisdom and mental power is mightier than the physical weapons. If we have knowledge, talent, intelligence, cleverness, fact fulness, etc. we can solve any problems. Mental weapons are more powerful than physical ones. Similarly, a writer is more powerful than a conqueror. The writer can influence all the reader of his writing. He is respected by everyone who knows him. But a physically powerful man may not be respected by everyone. All the physical achievements, scientific discoveries and devices which are tools of physical power are the results of the mental power; in other words, they are the products of the mental power. We can see that most of the industrialized countries already scaled the peak of human prosperity because of their mental power. Each physical power is easily controlled by the mental power. For example, if the two countries have been fighting against each other for long time, their war can be ended by means of a treaty paper made between them. Here, all physical weapons are controlled by mental weapons. Therefore, mental power is mightier than a physical power.
